Welcome to the Powerhouse Flag Football Camp! As one of the fastest-growing sports in America, flag football offers an exciting and inclusive way to get active and have fun. Our camp is designed to introduce the essential skills needed to play this incredible game. Participants will learn the fundamentals, including rules, techniques, speed, agility, and game strategy, through engaging drills and scrimmages. By the end of camp, you'll have the confidence, skills, and knowledge to join a local team and enjoy the thrill of flag football!

With 34 years of coaching experience and a passion for shaping young athletes, Bill Kennedy has dedicated his career to inspiring and developing talent both on and off the field. A veteran football coach, Bill has spent over 20 years leading summer football camps, providing players with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in the sport.
In 2007, Bill was recognized as Coach of the Year, a testament to his leadership, commitment, and the positive impact he has on his teams. As a Physical Education teacher for 30 years, he has fostered a lifelong love for fitness and teamwork in countless students.
Bill’s innovative approach to sports extended to creating the Clarkstown High School Girls Flag Football program, breaking new ground and offering young female athletes an opportunity to engage with the sport in a competitive and inclusive environment.
Known for his dedication, expertise, and ability to connect with athletes of all levels, Bill Kennedy continues to leave a lasting legacy in both education and sports.
Paul Villanueva

With an impressive 34 years of experience coaching high school and college football, Paul Villanueva is a seasoned leader who has dedicated his career to developing athletes and fostering success on and off the field.
For 16 years, Paul served as the Head Coach for Albertus High School, where he led his team to a 2017 Section Championship, earning him recognition as Coach of the Year that same year. His ability to inspire players, build cohesive teams, and deliver results has made him a respected figure in the football community.
In addition to his high school achievements, Paul has spent 12 years as the Director of Summer Football Camps, where he has guided players in honing their skills and deepening their understanding of the game.
As a teacher for 25 years, Paul has seamlessly combined his passion for education and sports, shaping the lives of countless students and athletes with his dedication, knowledge, and mentorship.

With over a decade of experience coaching youth football, Dave Rami has been instrumental in developing young athletes and instilling a love for the game. His approach emphasizes teamwork, skill development, and personal growth, ensuring every player reaches their full potential both on and off the field.
As a Health and Wellness educator for 25 years, Dave has inspired countless students to lead active and healthy lifestyles. His dedication to teaching extends beyond the classroom, where he emphasizes the importance of physical and mental well-being in achieving success.
Dave’s passion for youth sports and education also shines through in his role as a Sports Camp Director for 10 years. Under his leadership, these programs have provided participants with enriching experiences, fostering athleticism, confidence, and lifelong memories.
Known for his expertise, enthusiasm, and commitment to his community, Dave Rami continues to positively impact the lives of young athletes and students alike.
About the Camp
Fundamentals
Our experienced coaches will guide your child through the fundamentals of flag football, teaching proper techniques in agility, flag grabbing, throwing, catching, and game strategy.
Drills
Through engaging drills and scrimmages, campers will develop their skills while having fun. With a low coach-to-camper ratio, your child will receive plenty of individualized attention to ensure they excel.
Health and Wellness
Additionally, our Health and Wellness coach will introduce campers to the latest insights on fitness, nutrition, and overall well-being, providing a well-rounded experience both on and off the field.
